This veldtschoen shoe is made from full-grain black Kudu leather – strong, supple and marked with the natural textures of the African bush. Favoured for its quiet durability and breathable feel, the Courteney Vellie is equally suited to professional fieldwork or daily use.
Handcrafted in Zimbabwe by the Courteney Boot Company using stitched-down construction and ripple rubber soles for grip and all-day comfort. Made to order in men’s and women’s fit, with half sizes available. Other sole types available on request.
In South Africa and Zimbabwe, this iconic shoe is commonly called veldskoen, veldskoens or simply “vellies” by locals.
